Movies

* Strictly Ballroom - quirky Australian movie with heart

* Emma - the 2009 BBC miniseries - perfection (esp. with Jonny Lee Miller!)

* Persuasion - both versions - oh, the angst!

* James Bond & Jason Bourne - exotic locations, hunky leads, unbelievable stunts - what's not to love?

* Much Ado about Nothing - Joss Whedon's fab California rendition - very cool.

* Far From the Madding Crowd - Carey Mulligan's portrayal of a spunky heroine is superb

* Austenland - who doesn't want to live in a grand house whilst dreaming of meeting Mr Darcy?
